Social Development

It is our responsibility to partner with parents to help our children develop into balanced, confident and healthy members of Klal Yisroel (Jewish people). At BJ Preschool we do this through Circle Time, doing mitzvot, learning how to share and take turns, using good manners, and by encouraging independent thinking to help each child develop a strong sense of self and positive self-esteem. Paying close attention to the social development of each child is a critical step in preparation for elementary school and beyond. From the earliest age, our children form friendships with their peers and follow those relationships into adulthood. We encourage their independence and help them learn how they fit into the world as an individual, as a family member, as a neighbor, and as part of this world.
