The greatness of our lives is not in what we REAP, but in what we SOW.

Your investment in Beth Jacob Legacy fund, Inc. provides an opportunity for you to plant the seeds for future generations. Your values will live on and your participation serves as an example for your loved ones.

Beth Jacob Legacy Fund was created in 2011 to provide an endowment for future growth and development of Congregation Beth Jacob. Disbursements are made annually to support the congregation’s religious, educational, and social programs and initiatives. As BJLF grows, it will be an important guarantee of a vibrant future for Beth Jacob in the decades ahead.

A sage saw a man planting a carob tree.

He asked, How long will it take for this tree to bear fruit? Seventy years was the reply.

Do you think you will live another 70 years to eat the fruit of this tree?

And the man answered, I found a fruitful world. Just as my ancestors planted trees for me, likewise I am planting trees for my children and grandchildren so they will have fruit to eat...

(Talmud Ta’anit 23a)
