Bas/Bat Mitzvah Preparation

Aishes Chayil Class 5772/2012

The goal of this class is to help the Bas Mitzvah develop a confident Torah perspective of her role personally and communally as a Jewish woman. Through informal discussion and hands-on projects we will cover the following topics: Bas Mitzvah, (What does it mean to become a Bas Mitzvah?) Tefillah (prayer), Talmud Torah, Tznius (modesty), Challah, Yomim Tovim (Holidays), and Kashrus.

All topics will be discussed through the eyes of an approaching Bas mitzvah-age girl. Girls whose Bas Mitzvah day is between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012 are eligible for this class.

We meet for 10 Sunday nights beginning January 15th 2012 from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the home of

Mrs. Randee Goldberger: 1725 North Holly Lane. There is a fee of $100 payable to Congregation Beth Jacob.

The program culminates with a presentation and celebration with family and friends. Please feel free to call Mrs. Randee Goldberger with any questions or suggestions at:  404-325-5560
